Social Accountability Training to Promote School Governance

GoGo Foundation's Hamro Sikshya (Our Education) Project organized two batches of 'Social Accountability Training to Promote Public School Governance' (3-5 Jan & 7-9 Jan 2018) in Janakpur, Province No. 2 of Nepal. Altogether 40 participants from local youth clubs from Mahottari, Dhanusha and Siraha Districts have been graduated. These trained graduates will launch local school governance campaign in their respective districts. The opening session was graciously attended by Chief District Officer, Dilip Chapagain and District Education Officer, Yam B. Khadka as Chief Guest and Special Guest respectively. Chief Guest along with special guest launched 4 training manuals (Social Audit, Budget Tracking, Compliant Redress Mechanism and Community Score Card) prepared by GoGo Foundation. Hamro Sikshya Project is funded by the European Union through a consortium led by Search for Common Ground in association with the GoGo Foundation and NCE Nepal.
